Important Risk Warning

This event is a dangerous recreational activity under the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW).

Cycling involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

• Physical injury (including serious or fatal injury)

• Illness, dehydration, heat stress or hypothermia

• Collisions with vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians or animals

• Poor road or weather conditions

• Mechanical failure

• Negligence of others

• Property damage or permanent disability

I understand that these risks cannot be eliminated.

Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily choose to participate and accept all risks associated with the event.

Release & Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the event organiser, volunteers, sponsors and partners from all claims arising from my participation, including claims based on negligence, except for rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Participant Declaration

I declare that:

• I am medically and physically fit to participate

• I will obey all road laws and event instructions

• I will wear appropriate safety equipment

• I will not ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol

• My bicycle and equipment are roadworthy
