By purchasing a ticket or registering for the Against the Wind Charity Bicycle Ride, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that cycling is a dangerous recreational activity under the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW) and involves inherent risks, including serious injury, illness, permanent disability or death. These risks may arise from road conditions, traffic, weather, equipment failure, other participants, or the actions of third parties.

I participate voluntarily and at my own risk.

I agree that before taking part in the ride I am required to complete and sign the Against the Wind Risk Warning and Waiver of Liability. I understand that failure to complete the waiver will result in my entry being cancelled and I will not be permitted to ride.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release the event organiser, volunteers, sponsors, partners and associated parties from liability for injury, loss or damage arising from my participation, except for rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

I confirm that I am medically fit to participate, will follow all event rules and road laws, and will ride safely and responsibly.
