Riding 350km to do something about domestic violence

The Against the Wind Challenge has been highlighted in the Byron Shire Echo as a powerful local initiative turning effort into impact. The three-day, 350km ride represents the 350 domestic violence calls made each day across NSW, grounding the challenge in a confronting and very real statistic.

With riders travelling through the Northern Rivers, the event brings together community, conversation, and action. Funds raised will support frontline organisations working in both prevention and crisis response, helping provide essential support to those experiencing domestic violence.

As awareness continues to grow, the ride is gaining strong local backing, reinforcing the importance of community-led action in addressing domestic violence.
