Against the Wind Challenge Featured on NSW Government Events Calendar

The Against the Wind Challenge has been listed on the NSW Government Events Calendar, marking an important milestone for the event’s visibility and credibility. The listing recognises the ride as a “powerful 350-kilometre cycling event across the Northern Rivers,” symbolising the 350 domestic violence-related calls made each day in NSW.

Held over three days from 27–29 March 2026, the ride brings together riders, sponsors and community partners to raise awareness and support domestic violence prevention programs and crisis phone services. Organised by the Boaty Boys with support from Rotary, the challenge continues to grow as a meaningful community movement focused on driving real change.
